01 / Image desk

Resize. Export. Done.

Fit the longest edge while preserving the whole image. Small images stay small: this tool never upscales.

1. Choose images & settings

PNG, JPEG or WebP · 20 MB each · 60 MB total · 16 million pixels each. No animated images.

1–4096 px. The other edge follows the original ratio.

PNG quality is lossless; its file size can be larger.

Choose images or try the original built-in sample.

2. Download your results

Each image gets its own download. Results are temporary: save them before leaving or clearing this page.

What to expect.

Dimensions change. Shape stays.

A 2400 × 1600 image with a 1200 px longest edge becomes 1200 × 800. A 600 × 400 image at that setting stays 600 × 400. Rounding may adjust the smaller edge by less than a pixel.

Check the finished file.

The preview is a quick check. Open your download at full size before using it. Color profiles, metadata and advanced image formats are not preserved as an editing workflow.

Limits protect browser memory.

Images are processed one at a time. Phones and older browsers may still struggle near the limits. Use a smaller source or longest edge if an export fails.

Need a specific print size?

This desk changes pixels. It does not set custom PPI metadata or crop to a paper ratio. Use the print-size calculator for the physical dimensions.

SVG, GIF, HEIC, AVIF and animated PNG/WebP are outside this tool’s scope. Export a still PNG or JPEG from an app that supports your source first.
